Terms of Service

These are the terms of using HigherLife, a digital content protection service for phones. They are written plainly on purpose. If something here is unclear, write to us and we will explain it.

What we provide

HigherLife decides what a phone can reach, on the plan you choose and with the settings you set. You manage your phones from My HigherLife. The protection is installed on each phone you set up.

What you agree to

• You are the owner of the phones you set up, or you have the authority of the person who is.
• The details you give us, including your mobile number, are yours to give.
• You will not try to defeat the protection on a phone you set up for someone else in your care.

Text messages

When you give us your mobile number you agree to receive service text messages from HigherLife: the link to install your protection, one-time codes for you or a guardian, and the alerts you turn on. We do not send marketing texts. Message frequency varies, and is typically a few messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message and we stop texting that number; reply HELP for help. We never sell or share your mobile number for anyone else’s marketing. Payment

Each phone has its own plan, paid up front for six months or a year, by card through our payment provider or in cash with a HigherLife rep. You can see your term and its end date in My HigherLife. If a term ends we will tell you before anything stops.

Stopping

You can stop at any time from My HigherLife. Removing the protection from a phone is done with a HigherLife rep. We can stop providing the service if it is used to break these terms, and we will tell you why.

What we do not promise

No protection is perfect. HigherLife closes what falls outside your plan, and it will sometimes be wrong in both directions. We do not promise that every unwanted page is closed or that every wanted page opens. We do promise to fix what you report to us.
