FILTERED WHATSAPP · TRY IT
Filtered WhatsApp.
Try it yourself.
This is the WhatsApp part of a parent’s own page in My HigherLife, beside the phone it controls. Flip any switch and watch the phone change, just like a paying customer.
💡 Psst - this is a mock-up, so nothing really plays or sends. The real thing on your phone is even better.
Your personal messages are end-to-end encrypted

Questions people ask
What is Filtered WhatsApp?
Our own WhatsApp app for the kosher home. It sits on the iPhone’s home screen like any app and opens only to what the parent allows: the people and groups on the list, without Status, Channels or Communities, with pictures shaded.
Can I choose who can reach my child?
Yes. Choose “Only people and groups I approve” and add the names. Anyone else shows “Ask to add”, and the request comes to you to answer Yes or No.
Can pictures and videos be turned off?
Yes. Photos, videos, GIFs and stickers, profile pictures, forwards, voice messages and files each have their own switch. “Messages only” turns them all off in one press.
Can WhatsApp close for Shabbos or at night?
Yes. Choose “Only 7 AM to 9 PM” or “Closed for Shabbos”, and set a daily limit of 30 minutes, an hour or two.
Can my child change the settings?
No. WhatsApp’s own Settings and Log out are locked, only this WhatsApp account opens, and every change on your page asks for your parent password.
