HigherLife for Windows.

Keep your whole computer. Only the browser changes.

Filmed live on Windows 11 Home: first with nothing on it, then with HigherLife. Three minutes, narrated, with music.

Before
  • Chrome, Edge, Firefox or any new browser opens any site.
  • Google image search shows everything.
  • The Start menu search opens the web.
  • A link in an email, Word or a PDF opens in a browser nobody is watching.
After
  • Every other browser stays shut, even a copy with a new name.
  • Their icons are gone from the desktop, the Start menu, the taskbar and search.
  • Every link opens in HigherLife, where every page is checked.
  • Your desktop, files, Word, Zoom and games stay exactly where they were.

What your computer gets.

Nothing erasedEvery file and every program stays. Nobody is signed out and the computer does not restart.

Good to know. HigherLife looks after the browser. The programs you keep, like Word, Zoom or Teams, stay exactly as they are and are not checked by HigherLife. Ask us about any program before you rely on it.

Read our guide: How to make a Windows computer kosher The four ways the web reaches a computer, what Microsoft's own settings cover, and ten questions to ask.

Questions people ask.

Is anything erased?

No. Every file, every program and every setting stays. The only change is the browser.

Where did Chrome go?

Other browsers stay shut now, and their icons are hidden. HigherLife is on your desktop and your taskbar.

I clicked a link in my email. What happens?

It opens in HigherLife. That is set up for everyone who signs in to the computer.

Can someone download another browser?

It may download, but none of the 21 well-known browsers will open, even under another name.

Will I be signed out, or does the computer restart?

No. Nobody is signed out and nothing restarts. You keep working while it is set up.

What does it cost?

The same as a phone: $80 for six months or $160 for a year.
